I know the base of the question has been asked times. But the I cant ever find a clear answer. I have 5 PC's at home and have a home domain that they are connected to. Being that I put this computers on my home domain means I can not get a free upgrade of Windows Is this correct?

Now this is where people say a lot of words with none of them answering the questions. Just a simple yes or no answer. Maybe a description how to get it free if I can since I don't get the upgrade icon. A machine must be completely removed from the domain, restarted, and logged in as a local administrator in order to reserve the update. It's uncertain if the upgrade will execute later if joined back to the domain.

There is a lot of "what ifs" here with no clear direction from Microsoft. If that does not work, you have to wait for the official announcement from Microsoft on what they plan to do with machines joined to the domain.

Right now, it does not work and is not eligible, simply put. That's all that I can say at this time. Hey that is an answer I can live with.
