Greye, thank you very much! I think this is the perfect workaround! It's been quite a few years since I've done heavy lifting with DOS commands. Instead using VBscript and lately Powershell instead and it might be available there too come to think of it. Heck, this was how I used to do it before Windows mapped network drives! I'll put this in the WIN environmental variables section that gets run during startup, assuming all the DOS commands still work there.
